Residents of Embu County and the surrounding areas have a golden opportunity to access a wide range of essential health services completely free of charge this coming Saturday, May 17, 2025.
The locals are set to benefit from a Free Medical Camp at Runyenjes Stadium, courtesy of a powerful partnership between MPESA Foundation, Zuri Health, the Embu County Department of Health, Lions Sight First Eye Hospital, and the Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE).
The one-day camp, running from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, aims to bring quality, accessible healthcare closer to the people—especially those who need it most.
Services to be offered include:
- General doctor consultations
- Screenings for heart conditions and cancer
- Child health check-ups and malnutrition screening
- Women’s health services – including family planning, ultrasounds, and cervical & breast cancer screening
- Fistula screening and referrals
- Blood pressure and blood sugar screening and management
- Eye care and consultations
- Dental screening and extractions
- Disability assessment and therapy
- Community health education, and much more
With free drugs and treatment provided on-site, this initiative offers renewed hope for thousands of residents who often face barriers to accessing vital health services.
Organizers are urging all residents of Embu County and nearby regions to seize this life-changing opportunity.
“This is more than just a medical camp—it’s about restoring hope and dignity through health.”
Everyone is welcome. No appointments, no charges—just show up and get the care you need.
Hope is here. Health is here. Come and be part of it.
