Farmers in Manyatta Constituency of Embu County are gearing up to host a farmers and agribusiness exhibition on August 22, 2024.
The annual event organized by the farmers under the Manyatta Stakeholders Forum (MASHF) will take place at Kairuri grounds in the same Constituency.
The event is expected to attract many farmers, agribusiness owners, and stakeholders from the region and beyond.
Through the exhibition, which runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the farmers aim to provide a platform to showcase their products, share knowledge, and learn about the latest trends in agriculture and agribusiness.
“It also offers networking opportunities for participants, enabling them to connect with potential buyers, suppliers, and experts in the agricultural field,” said Thomas Nyaga, the MASHF chairman.
The exhibition will feature a variety of displays, including modern farming equipment, agricultural inputs, and value-added products.
“We are excited to bring together farmers and agribusiness stakeholders in this exhibition. This event is crucial in promoting agricultural development and empowering our farmers with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed,” he added.
This exhibition is part of their ongoing efforts to support farmers and agribusinesses in Embu County.
