Jamii Maziwa Ltd has announced a job opportunity for a Community-Based Organisation (CBO) Manager, offering qualified candidates an opportunity to lead and strengthen its dairy farmer support programmes in Embu.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing overall leadership and managing the day-to-day operations of the CBO, which mobilises and serves smallholder dairy farmers by aggregating raw milk, chilling it at collection centres and supplying it in bulk to Jamii Maziwa Ltd.
The manager will also oversee milk quality and food safety standards, farmer membership, extension services, input supply, credit management, financial reporting and staff supervision.
Applicants should possess a Diploma or Degree in Agribusiness Management, Agriculture, Business Management or a related field. They must also demonstrate experience in the dairy value chain, cooperative or community-based organisations, alongside strong leadership, financial management and communication skills.
The position is based in Kangaru, Embu, and is offered on a full-time basis.
