Neema Universal Healthcare Hospital on Friday joined the global community in celebrating Nurses Week, honoring the resilience, compassion, and dedication of nurses who serve as pillars of hope and healing in the healthcare system.
The hospital held a special ceremony recognizing the critical role nurses play in patient care, under the theme of this year’s global observance: “Our Nurses. Our Future. The Economic Power of Care.”
The management praised nurses for their unwavering commitment to leading, caring, and inspiring—day in and day out.
“Nurses are the heartbeat of our hospital. Their compassion brings comfort to patients, and their skill makes healing possible,” said a statement from the hospital’s leadership. “We are proud to join the world in thanking them.”

The highlight of the celebration was a joyful cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing unity and appreciation for the entire nursing team.
Nurses Week, held annually from May 6 to May 12 to coincide with Florence Nightingale’s birthday, is a global celebration of the nursing profession and its contribution to quality healthcare.
