Embu County Campus Students Organization (ECCSO) is set to host its highly anticipated 3rd Annual Meeting, promising a gathering of influential minds and a forward-looking agenda.
The comrades union known for its commitment to uniting and fostering collaboration among diverse groups, has set the meeting on December 30, 2023.
“We emphasize the importance of unity among the comrades and different groups in the society in efforts to address pressing social issues and promote sustainable practices,” said Nicholas Kasanga, the organization’s founding C.E.O.
The event’s theme is Empowering Youth through Festivity. It will take place at the Embu’s Talent Academy from 9 am.
Representatives from various sectors, including business, education, and community organizations, are anticipated to attend, creating a platform for cross-sectoral dialogue.
Kasanga said during the AGM, they will have activities including Goat eating, inauguration of leaders, cake cutting, the launch of the 2024 strategic plan, and a talent show where Mr. and Miss ECCSO 2024 will be crowned.
“The AGM is also open to high school students, Form 4 leavers, all comrades, alumni, youth, parents, leaders, and all interested persons. We will give the overview of our past projects,” he said.
He added that this provides an opportunity to learn, socialize, and create new networks for the attendees.
The meeting is expected to unveil a visionary agenda for the upcoming year, outlining key initiatives and projects that ECCSO aims to undertake.
