The governor of Embu, Cecily Mbarire has officially inaugurated a week-long initiative offering free medical services at the Embu Level 5 Hospital.
The launch ceremony, held earlier today on Monday at the hospital, marked the commencement of a concerted effort to alleviate healthcare burdens on the populace.
Mbarire underscored the significance of accessible healthcare, emphasizing the government’s commitment to prioritizing the well-being of its citizens.
The governor said although she inherited the health department in a very dire state, she was striving to bring the sector back on its feet.

“The launch of this initiative reaffirms our dedication to ensuring every resident has access to quality medical care without financial constraints. And I want to appreciate the support we are receiving from the health sector,” she said.
