ECDE teachers get digital education training

Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) teachers in Embu County have successfully undergone the necessary training in digital education.

The teachers received the training in different locations set across the county by the local government in collaboration with EIDU.

EIDU is a technology-enhanced platform that integrates various high-impact interventions into a single, coherent system that is easy to use by teachers and students.

Jane Karimi Mwaniki, the Chief Officer for ECDE, said comprehensive digital education will be introduced across all Embu schools in January 2024.

“The department is deeply committed to successful implementation of this initiative aiming at positioning our learners prominently on the global map,” she said.

Embu County program co-ordinator Mr. Samuel Abongo applauded teachers and the county leadership for embracing the program.
