“It was a good event. Seeing so many people come together to support this cause gives us hope that we can make a difference. We must continue preaching against drugs that have ruined the lives of many. The energy and enthusiasm from the crowd were incredible,” said Honey Candy, an Afropops artist.
“We believe that by showcasing our talents, we can inspire others to pursue their passions instead of falling into the trap of drug abuse,” added Makumi Njue, a Reggae artist and one of the concert organizers.
Njue said the event’s success prompted discussions about hosting the ‘Talents Against Drugs’ concert in all major towns within the county.
Locals praised the artists for their proactive stance against drug abuse.
“This concert is a testament to the power of art in driving social change. Our youth are our future, and we must support them in making positive choices,” said John Nyaga, a resident.
