Neema Universal Healthcare Hospital has launched a new 24-hour chemist, a move aimed at enhancing healthcare services for its patients and the wider community.
The new pharmacy will operate round-the-clock, ensuring that patients have access to essential medications at any time of the day or night.
The 24-hour chemist, located within the hospital premises, is fully stocked with a wide range of prescription and over-the-counter medications.
This initiative is part of the hospital’s ongoing efforts to improve patient care and convenience.
Dr. Patrick Kariuki, the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, expressed his enthusiasm about the new development.
“The opening of our 24-hour chemist is a significant step towards providing comprehensive healthcare services. It underscores our commitment to patient care and our dedication to meeting the healthcare needs of our community,” he said.
In addition to dispensing medications, the chemist will offer pharmaceutical consultations, ensuring that patients receive proper guidance on medication usage and potential side effects.
The staff includes licensed pharmacists available to answer any queries and provide necessary support.
Local resident Agnes Wanja, one of the first customers to use the new service, praised the hospital’s initiative.
“This is a game-changer for us. Knowing that I can get my prescriptions filled at any time is incredibly reassuring, especially for emergencies,” he said.
The hospital administration believes that the 24-hour chemist will significantly reduce wait times and improve overall patient satisfaction.
Neema Universal Healthcare Hospital continues to explore additional ways to enhance its services and improve patient outcomes.
The launch of the 24-hour chemist marks a milestone in its mission to provide high-quality, accessible healthcare to all.
