Mbeere North MP Geoffrey Ruku has endorsed the recent political agreement between President William Ruto and opposition leader Raila Odinga, describing it as a crucial step towards national reconciliation and stability.
Speaking at Kambu Catholic Church in Kigwambiti, Embu County, Ruku emphasized the importance of implementing the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) report, saying it will play a key role in healing the nation and fostering unity.
“The signing of the agreement between Raila Odinga and President Ruto marks a historic turning point in Kenya’s political landscape. This pact signals that leaders are now focused on the welfare of the people, setting aside past disagreements,” he said.

The MP urged opposition leaders Kalonzo Musyoka and Martha Karua to join forces with the government in a spirit of cooperation, stressing that national interests should take precedence over political rivalries.
“We must bridge the gaps between us and prioritize the well-being of our citizens. Let us leave behind divisive politics and work together to build a better Kenya,” he added.
Ruku called on Kenyans to embrace the spirit of reconciliation, affirming that implementing the NADCO report would be vital in achieving lasting peace, inclusivity, and economic progress.
