Daima Sacco Society has awarded two fortunate individuals who emerged as the winners in the first draw of the Dosika na Daima Sacco sweepstake.
The winners were awarded a 6kg gas cylinder and a sprayer pump respectively for their investments in the sacco.
The winners, Jumka Enterprises based in Embu and John Waweru, a farmer from Mwea, were delighted to receive their prizes.
Jumka Enterprises was awarded at the Sacco’s Embu Branch, while John Waweru was awarded at the Ngurubani Branch in Mwea, Kirinyaga County.
“I opened my account in February 2024 and heard about the ongoing promotion. I continued to invest, and on Saturday, I received a call informing me that I was the monthly winner,” Waweru said.
He said the sprayer pump would significantly reduce the labor and time required for spraying his crops.
The winners were selected under the category of deposit saving and investing in shares.
On April 10th, the Daima Sacco Society launched the sweepstake program reaffirming its commitment to supporting its members and contributing to the socio-economic development of the communities it serves.
The sweepstake, which has garnered widespread attention across the regions served by the Sacco, aims to not only incentivize savings but also celebrate and empower members of the community.
Mary Njoka, the Marketing Manager of Daima Sacco, encouraged participants to continue investing in the Sacco to increase their chances of winning the grand prize.
“The sweepstake is open to both existing and new members, offering an equal chance for all to participate and win exciting prizes. Dosika na Daima Sacco sweepstake program will close in July 13th, 2024,” she said.
To qualify for the raffle, participants need to save Sh1000 worth of shares or Sh500 in the non-withdrawable deposit.
The grand prize includes a Toyota Succeed vehicle and a Boxer model motorbike.
