The much-anticipated Dosika na Daima Sacco promotion, an initiative by Daima Sacco, has successfully concluded after three months of active participation.

The grand draw winners were announced in a vibrant ceremony held on Saturday at the University of Embu grounds, where significant prizes were awarded to the lucky participants.

The top prize, a brand-new Toyota Succeed, went to Silas Njagi, a farmer from Kavutiri village in Embu County who participated four times.

Addressing the press after the awards, Njagi expressed his excitement and gratitude, stating that the win was a surprise and would significantly impact his life.

“Winning this car will greatly enhance my farming business and transportation needs. I’m incredibly thankful to Daima Sacco for this opportunity,” he said.

The second place went to Silas Migwi, also a resident of Kavutiri. Mr. Migwi purchased 50 tickets worth Sh25,000 and was awarded a Boxer model motorbike.

Overwhelmed with joy, Migwi mentioned that the motorbike would enhance his milk business operations by providing better mobility.

“Winning this motorbike is a boost for my business and daily commute. I thank Daima Sacco for this wonderful opportunity,” he said.

Daima Sacco Chief Executive Officer Diana Wawira Mbogo expressed her satisfaction with the promotion’s success.

“The Dosika na Daima Sacco promotion aimed at rewarding our loyal members and encouraging a culture of saving, especially for young people. It also allowed our members to win life-changing prizes,” she said.

John Njeru Evan, the board chairman promised to continue with such initiatives to strengthen the sacco, foster a culture of savings, and reward members for their commitment.

The three-month campaign required participants to save Sh1000 worth of shares or Sh500 in the non-withdrawable deposit.
