The Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK), Eastern region is gearing up to host its much-anticipated ASK Show in March, promising an exciting showcase of agricultural prowess and innovation.
The event, which is scheduled to take place from 14th to 16th March, is expected to draw crowds from across Embu County and beyond.
According to the region’s chairman, Martin Muto, the exhibitions scheduled to take place at Njukiri Showground on the outskirts of Embu town will feature a diverse array of agricultural exhibitions, livestock showcases, and interactive displays.
“This provides an opportunity for farmers, agribusinesses, and stakeholders to exchange knowledge, explore new technologies, and celebrate the rich agricultural heritage of the region,” said Muto.
This year’s theme is Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth.

Among the highlights of the event will be competitions showcasing the best in livestock breeding, crop production, and innovative farming practices.
With hundreds of exhibitors, attendees can expect to participate in training focused on modern farming techniques, sustainable agriculture, and agribusiness opportunities.
“From traditional practices to cutting-edge technology, the Eastern region ASK show has it all. Be there from March 14th to 16th to witness the evolution of agriculture,” he said.
The ASK Show serves as a vital platform for farmers and agricultural stakeholders to network, learn, and access market opportunities.
