Neema Universal Healthcare Hospital is marking its first anniversary with a series of free medical services, offering much-needed healthcare to residents of Embu and its environs.

Among the beneficiaries is 80-year-old Mzee Njiru Ireri from Kiriari Village in Manyatta Constituency, who has begun his journey to receiving a full set of dentures courtesy of the hospital’s director, Dr. Patrick Kariuki, and management.

Mzee Njiru underwent his first dental wash on Wednesday, the initial step in a process expected to take about a month before he fully receives his dentures.

“I am grateful to Neema Universal Hospital for this gift. Eating and speaking have been difficult, but now I have hope,” he said.

The hospital’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative includes free general consultations, orthopedic specialist reviews, blood pressure and blood sugar tests, eye and dental checkups, as well as a 50% discount on laboratory tests, X-rays, and ultrasounds. These services will continue until Friday 28th, March 2025.

Hundreds of residents have already benefitted from the ongoing free services as Neema Hospital strengthens its position as a key healthcare provider in the region.
