Embu County has unveiled an ambitious program to nurture talents across various disciplines.
The program, named Embu Talent Hub seeks to provide platforms for young individuals to develop their skills and pursue their passions.
Under the program, talent categories such as singing, modeling, comedy, fine arts, dance, content creating, spoken word, acrobatics, and Radio cum TV presenting are prioritized.
This comprehensive approach reflects the county’s commitment to fostering diverse talents and providing opportunities for all its residents to thrive.
“Our youth represent the future of our county, and we must equip them with the necessary tools and resources to realize their full potential,” said Pithon Muchoki, Chief Officer for Youths, Sports and Talent Development.
Muchoki said the talent-nurturing initiative will encompass workshops, training sessions, competitions, and mentorship programs tailored to specific talent domains.
“Local experts and professionals will be engaged to provide guidance and support to aspiring talents, ensuring they receive the guidance needed to flourish in their respective fields,” he said.
To register for the talent-nurturing initiative, interested individuals above the age of 18 years, should send their details such as Names, Category, and Ward to Doris through 0721863749. The deadline is set on 12th April 2024.
