A 27-year-old father mourning the loss of his wife has received support from Manyatta MP Gitonga Mukunji, who donated Sh30,000 to help him buy a dairy goat to provide milk for his one-year-old son.
Denis Mutugi’s wife, Njeri Mutugi, 25, passed away last week after a short illness, leaving behind their young child.
During a burial arrangements meeting, a local MC appealed to MP Mukunji, who was present to assist the grieving father in acquiring a dairy goat to ensure the child had a steady milk supply. The legislator immediately responded, offering the cash.
Mutugi expressed deep gratitude, saying the support would help him provide nourishment for his son despite the devastating loss.
