BY SALEH CLARISSA
I wondered whether the voice to raise,
Or enter into the maize,
Strong hands grabbed me,
As I resisted to get free.
**************************
Insisting he wanted an infant,
Yet we couldn’t in broad daylight,
So it resorted into a fight.
**************************
Through the push and shove,
I had made a resolve,
That I better die but not give in,
He said he must discipline.
**************************
And I jumped up as he winked,
I rejected lest I blinked,
Fear of the mighty stream,
Would suck the whole cream.
**************************
And voila he let go,
Then I made a vow,
To run and never look back,
As I was taken aback!
